Description
The 1-day Skills Test is the final mandatory part of becoming a qualified CISRS scaffolder. At least 6 months from passing the 10-day Part 2 course and completing the Level 2 NVQ in Accessing Operations & Rigging, operatives are eligible to attend the 1-day Skills Test.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to carry out tasks competently. Each candidate must play an active role in all aspects of the assessment. Candidates are required to work to a safe method/system of work. The assessment must be completed within a 6-hour time limit. It is therefore in the candidate’s interest to ensure that careful planning and preparation is carried out to minimise repetitive work patterns.
Candidates must ensure that they book themselves on the same type of scaffolding equipment as their Part 2 course, i.e. tube & fitting or System scaffolding, to complete their training.
